Dear Parents and Guardians, The time of year has arrived where we have the opportunity to celebrate the success of your 8th grade scholar(s)! Upon arrival of the end of the school year and these celebratory events, we need to review necessary procedures to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

The Bilingual and Multilingual Department at JLMS is sponsoring a Parent University night with CYN Counseling Center to discuss how to help children who are being bullied. The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18 at John R. Lewis Middle School. Scan the barcode on the flyer to reserve your spot!

All Lewis MS after school CLUBS meet one day a week from 2:30 to 4:30. Students may sign up for one club a day. Students with clubs on M, T and Th are eligible for bus transportation home at 4:30. Sign-up due date is 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 3. First come, first served :)

All Lewis MS Families are invited to Open House to meet your child's teachers, learn about their classes, view their classrooms, and explore different ways to partner with our school to help them learn. The Nurse's Office will be open to drop-off medical paperwork, school counselors and administration are available for your questions, and we will have information available about many of the great programs for our students this year. After-school club sign-up will also be available - students enrolling in three after school clubs are eligible for transportation home.
